Meet Elizabeth Farina

NetSearch has a new face to their production team, Elizabeth Farina. When Elizabeth is not thinking of random facts to share with the company, she is being the wordsmith for SEO at NetSearch. She likes to explain it by, “It’s fun – like playing (and winning!) at Scrabble every day.” Elizabeth’s favorite part of working with SEO is finding new words. She knows it sounds simple, but there are different dialogues for different areas of the nation, meaning that one word may work in Richmond, Virginia but it may be completely different for Richmond, California. As for NetSearch, Elizabeth really enjoys the people she works with. She thinks that they are an incredible professional team who has a main focus on their clients. She also thinks the team is filled with creative souls. If she is ever stuck on verbiage she knows she can turn to the production team in order to get a blast of inspiration. Elizabeth is also a parent and finds that NetSearch is a family-friendly working environment, which goes a long way for her.  Elizabeth has a background in Journalism, or the big ‘J’ word as she refers to it. She has been writing, editing, and photographing for over the past 15 years. When it comes to SEO, she is a bit newer to the industry but is seen as a ‘fast-learning newbie’. She believes that she is able to be a fast learner since she is being mentored by leaders in the SEO industry. Elizabeth is a very adventurous spirit, which may explain why she would love to backpack through Fiji or Italy when looking towards her future.  If in the next ten years Elizabeth gets to backpack to Fiji or Italy, she will be packing light, with her passport, camera, and family. When Elizabeth is not working hard finding new words through the dialogues, she spends a lot of her time exploring the Richmond area. She is either camping, canoeing, finding a festival, hanging out with ‘amateur astronomers’, or just ‘chillaxing’ on her back porch. On the rainy days in Richmond, Elizabeth likes to explore Richmond’s museums or just curl up with good books/movies.  Elizabeth prefers to eat at home and cook in her own kitchen rather than going out and dining in Richmond. To her, there is something about preparing food with her family that doesn’t compare to eating out.  But, when it comes to Christmas Eve, her extended family has a long-standing tradition to go to Osaka in Short Pump after mass. When Elizabeth gets her next vacation she would love to take her family to the Italian town her grandfather left as a teenager in order to come to the United States. She would love to complete the puzzle with where her family is from. When it comes to social media, Elizabeth has a long relationship with Twitter. She really loves the immediacy and short bursts of information coming in from around the world. We love Elizabeth’s positive and fun attitude when being here at work. Welcome Elizabeth!
