Social media week begins February 7th and runs through the 11th. Social media week involves a global conference that has expanded to nine cities around the world. The focus of the event has changed from being focused on tech to being focused on how to facilitate global change through innovative technology.
The event will bring together some of the brightest minds in social media. There are over 150 events scheduled throughout New York alone for social media week. Some of the events scheduled for next week include an interview with foursquare CEO Dennis Crowley, a panel on social media and music, an event from the UN on global social media engagement and many others.
