Brass Beds of Virginia
The Client -- Brass Beds of Virginia started in 1974 as a two-man company that bought and refurbished old brass beds. Over the years, as old brass beds became hard to find, the company started manufacturing their own line of brass, metal, and iron beds based on traditional, transitional, and contemporary designs. Originally sold only in the Richmond, VA area, Brass Beds expanded their reach by selling through hand-picked specialty stores in Birmingham, Alabama, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Georgia.
The Problem – For years Brass Beds had good rankings for natural search results. However, after launching a new, Flash web site, they “fell off the face of the earth.” As a result, their sales and reseller figures dropped dramatically.
