Mike Meyer
President
In 1982 when Mike began his career in advertising, he was moved by these words from Zig Ziglar, a professional salesman and sales trainer: “You will get all you want out of life if you help enough other people get what they want.”  Over a quarter of a century later these words still ring true.  For Mike it’s a good day when you have helped someone else be successful.

After 27 years in direct marketing, success has come to Mike in several ways.  He is the CEO and President of IMPAK Marketing, one of the southeast’s largest direct marketing companies.  In 2006 Mike founded NetSearch Direct, initially focusing on providing business owners an easy way to direct consumers to their business via the search engines.  Today NetSearch Direct is a full service Search Engine Marketing company, providing Pay-Per-Click advertising, Search Engine Optimization, and Call Tracking services for over one hundred businesses throughout the U.S.

Mike graduated from Wake Forest University in 1982 with a B.S. in Business and a B.A. in Speech Communications (well at least that’s what the sheepskin in his office says).  He is the proud father of two teenage daughters.  He believes that whatever success has come his way has been primarily because of hard work, luck, more hard work and luck, and support from his wife of almost twenty five years, Helene. 

So in addition to WFU basketball, fantasy football, playing tennis and long walks on the beach with his wife (who writes this stuff?), what does Mike like?  You guessed it - helping your businesses get more business through Search Engine Marketing!

Dave Williams
VP SEM Production
For 25 years, Dave has been solving technical problems for businesses. This includes providing services for companies like TurboTax, GE and Capital One as well as state agencies and universities. In the early 90’s, Dave turned his attention toward the Internet and has dedicated his work since then to infrastructure design and deployment, as well as developing web based applications. As Vice President of SEM Production at NetSearch Direct, Dave’s job is to ensure that work is scheduled and completed to deliver the results our clients expect. His diverse background as both a technocrat and a CPA gives him a unique perspective on service delivery and the ability to communicate technical issues with business owners.

When not at NetSearch, Dave’s is passionate about youth lacrosse. He built the Geronimo Lacrosse website and has been maintaining it for the past six years.

Chad Markham
Sales Representative
With a background in Computer Science and 9 years experience in sales and technology, Chad brings a value to his clients that have helped companies thrive online for years.  One of the biggest challenges Chad faces daily is cold calling new prospects, but overcomes it by “just smiling and dialing” – a true testament to Chad’s personality. When most people would be intimidated by cold calling, Chad speaks to his potential customers not like someone trying to sell something, but more as a resource and provider for a service important to their businesses success now and in the future. “I like to treat people like they are friends and show that I am just trying to help”. 

As our resident “pool shark,” Chad enjoys billiards along with other sport and recreational hobbies that include football, basketball, and volleyball.  With both parents being hearing impaired, Chad is also fluent in Sign Language.  Chad loves college and professional football with a natural gravitation towards the underdogs in the sports world, rooting for the West Virginia Mountaineer and Kansas City Chiefs.

Matt Oliver
SEO Manager
Matt Oliver graduated from Bridgewater College in 2002 with a B.S. in Business.  After trying his hand in sales with Skycasters a satellite Internet company, Matt turned to internet marketing and in 2003 he learned SEO from the ground up. After getting several sites under that company’s umbrella to page 1 rankings in the search engines, Matt found out that SEO does work and has been passionate about it ever since.  As SEO Manager with NetSearch Direct Matt gets to work with various websites in every industry utilizing all types of programming code including HTML, CSS, PHP and .NET coding, as well as several CMS and shopping cart systems – a service Matt is most proud of being able to provide to his clients.

In Matt’s spare time he is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing across Virginia, which he tries to keep chronicled on his personal website www.hunting-fishing-virginia.com. During this past year Matt and his wife were blessed to welcome their son John Douglas who Matt describes as “both an inspiration and a huge joy to us”.  You can keep up with Matt on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Kate Snowa
Client Service Manager
Kate has been with NetSearch Direct for over three years mainly focusing on local PPC client care. She also keeps the office crew organized, which is no small feat. Her favorite part of her job is the interaction she has with clients and the opportunities she has to propel their business success with PPC and online marketing work. “I really get a kick out of showing [our clients] how it works and all of the different tools we use for tracking their results. People are amazed at the results and it’s awesome to be able show clients that.” She loves the challenge of working through the complex properties of online marketing and then watching successful strategies take hold.

When she’s not at work, you can find Kate at home trying her hand at cooking and entertaining friends and family. She has found that a good bottle of wine (or two!) can mask most cooking mistakes.
